The future of SCORM is on the horizon. Stay informed of the latest SCORM developments by participating in the CORE SCORM LETSI (Learning-Education-Training Systems Interoperability) working group.
LETSI is an international non-profit federation dedicated to improving individual and organizational learning and performance.

This is some great information. Am I correct in interpreting that this new version of SCORM will not been seen by/released to the public until the second quarter of 2009?

The timeline is TBD, but you could see something that early. The most immediate date is this August -- which is the deadline for submitting white papers. If you have ideas that you would like to see incorporated into SCORM 2.0, please take the time to submit a paper:
