I have a scorm compliant application that has web based testing, I need the the abiity to grab the test results and record it in a database. I am studying up on the API now just need pointed in the right direction.

Want to make sure I understand the question. So you have an existing web application that allows you to upload SCORM content and then access/play it and you now want to buckle that to a database? If this is correct what development technology/programming language are you using? Where is the information currently being stored if there is no Database is connected? Once I have the answers to these questions I can more than likely point you in the right direction.
