How to force SCORM lesson status to 'Incomplete'
Added: 03/27/2008, Hits: 38, Rating: 0, Reviews: 0, Votes: 0
Hello,
I am working on a LMS integration (Saba) and my customer gets some Scorm 1.2 contents that they want to launch from the LMS.
It is fine apart that the customer wants the content to move into the learner's content history (on the LMS side) 30 days after they have bought the content.
This is supported by the LMS, unfortunately, only if the content overall completion status is 'Not Evaluated' (meaning that the content lesson status is 'Incomplete'; 'Browsed' or 'Not Attempted'). Any other status will make the content AUTOMATICALLY move to the learner's training history when this status is sent back to the LMS (may be at first customer's attempt...).

My thought was to find a way to amend the SCORM content code in order to force it to pass an overall lesson status of 'INCOMPLETE', whatever the learner has done in the content.
This way, it would be able to respect the customer's workflow process.
But I cannot find a way to do this...

Can you help and tell me if it is possible??
If yes, how?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much in advance.

Regards
Loic Mathieu
