Sometimes the term SCORM "compliant" is used interchangeably with SCORM "conformance". SCORM-certified Products are those products independently tested by ADL
Certification Testing Centers to meet the requirements of the SCORM Conformance
Test Suite ( Version
1.2 or SCORM
2004 ). Conformance is based on the SCORM Conformance
Requirements Version 1.2 document or the SCORM
2004 Conformance Requirements .
We urge vendors to provide link to their test logs and strongly promote products
that are SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 conformant!
From ADL: A “SCORM conformant” product is defined as a product
that has passed the SCORM Conformance Test Suite (Self Test), which indicates
that the product conforms to the latest version of SCORM specifications as outlined
in the SCORM Conformance Requirements. Anyone whose products pass the SCORM Conformance
Test Suite can claim to be SCORM conformant.
In order for your product(s)
or content examples to be listed on CONFORM 2 SCORM, when applicable, we ask
that you provide a direct link to your ADL Test Suite Logs URL to verify & showcase
that your product has passed the Version
1.2 or SCORM
2004 3rd Edition ADL Conformance Test Suite.
This request is optional for listing your service, but if your product (SCORM
Learning Management System LMS or SCORM Content Output) qualifies for SCORM conformance
testing then we urge you to take this opportunity to showcase your support of
the SCORM. We strongly advise organizations to request a copy of the ADL Test
Logs before purchasing any SCORM product(s). In addition, before doing business
with any SCORM vendor you should always check the following:
- Professional/Legally licensed
- Examples of work
- Reputation & Existing Client List
- Competitive Rates & Service fees
- Credible experience with SCORM

Our RSS News Feeds include syndications from several authoritative SCORM sources including the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) initiative, The Learning Systems Architecture Lab (LSAL) at Carnegie Mellon, and the Job Performance Technology Center.

- Job Board: The SCORM Job Board allows members to search and post new employment opportunities! Potential employees can post Resumes and search Jobs, and Employer members will be able to post job listings and search resumes on the C2S Job Board.
- SCORM Content Testing: C2S features content
testing tools that provide developers with the capability to test their
SCORM content against an ADL certified Run-time Environment interface. Content
developers will be able to upload content packges, launch
their content, and utilize helpful debugging features and analyze log files.
